To get started:
- Learn all you can about Real Estate. This could take you weeks or years depending on how aggressive you are. You don't need to know everything but you need to know enough to understand what you don't know. Call us and we’ll gladly point you in the right direction with no future obligations. - Buy your own house first and don't pay rent to someone else, you are the landlord! From owning your own home you learn about some of the complexities and nuances of the Real Estate process and the tax implications and benefits. Once you own a home you also build equity to leverage in future transactions.
- Save up a down payment and closing costs. Most lenders require at least 10% down and sometimes more for their best rates and terms. It is often a good idea to take some equity out of your home to come up with more down payment.
